Shinetech Introduces Chinese IT Offshoring Services to the UK

With the growth of the offshore IT services market in China, Shinetech are leading the way by launching their UK headquarters to support the European market and offer a competitive alternative to rival Indian IT services companies.

London, UK (Shinetech UK) January 31st 2008 – Shinetech, a leading supplier of Chinese offshore IT services, will launch its UK and European operations with a staggered launch process out of two sites in the UK. As the Chinese offshore IT Services market matures, it is starting to now be considered a viable alternative to the business proposition offered by India. Western organisations are increasingly viewing China as an IT services supplier that can match the commercial benefits of outsourcing to existing global hubs, while at the same time offering cutting edge technical capabilities offered by a pool of cost effective, highly qualified developers.

Shinetech (UK) will be headquartered from their offices in Windsor, whilst maintaining a second office in London. The UK operation will be led by Seb Butt as Managing Director. Seb has spent over 18 months working closely with the Chinese office to establish the proposition for UK customers, clear channels of communication and also the processes that will ensure smooth delivery to UK clients. Rory Firth is joining Shinetech UK from a long established UK based IT services vendor and will be directing business development activities.

Shinetech have also opened an office in the US and plan to use the UK office to extend into new locations throughout Europe.
