Kiosk-Based Gambling Application for a British Client

What the client wanted

The client wanted to develop a gambling application which was designed to be installed on Kiosks located at some public places. Anyone can play it by throwing a certain amount of coins/paper currency into the Kiosk, or, after online payment, players can play it on web site featuring the same functions. The playing method of the game is somewhat similar to lottery.

Our solutions

• Analyzed the requirements and formulated game logic and algorithm;
• The game logic was not very complicated, for the purpose of completing the game ASAP, we chose .Net technology supported by Windows XPE of the Kiosk;
• Designed Web Demo of PC version so that the client could see the effect of game operation on PC; confirmed game interface and operation mode with the client;
• Developed Kiosk-based game with .Net Windows Form and Web-based game with ASP.Net; realized the functionalities of notification via e-mail and of online payment;
• Cooperated with the Kiosk manufacturer to solve the problem of hardware compatibility, such as Coin/Cash Accepter, Double Displays，Printer.

Final Results
